The long version
Submit a word or phrase, choose your language, and receive a beautifully formatted email every morning with your entries translated and linked to audio pronunciation. No app. No account. Just a form and your inbox.
How it works
Submit a word Fill in the form on this page. Enter the word or phrase you want to learn, select your target language, and provide your email address. That's it.
It lands in the sheet Your submission is processed immediately and added to the vocabulary list. If this is your first submission, you'll receive a welcome email within minutes.
Check your inbox each morning Every day at 10 AM, an email arrives with up to 21 of your most recent vocabulary entries — translated, formatted in a clean table, and ready to review in under two minutes.
Tap to hear pronunciation Every translated entry in the email is clickable. Tap it to hear the word spoken aloud by a native-language voice.
What the email looks like
Each email contains a table with your vocabulary. The columns typically show the original word or phrase, its translation, and an example sentence. On mobile, the same content is displayed as stacked cards so nothing gets cut off.
At the top of every email is a short reminder that clicking any translated word plays its pronunciation. At the bottom is a button to submit more vocabulary and a link to unsubscribe.
What's included
Any language
Select your target language from the form. Supported languages include Polish, Japanese, Arabic, German, French, Spanish, and many more.
Pronunciation links
Every translated word in your email links to an audio pronunciation source. One tap is all it takes to hear the word spoken correctly.
Up to 21 entries per email
Each daily email surfaces your 21 most recently submitted entries. Your full history is kept on file — the email stays focused on what's newest.
Multiple people, separate vocabularies
If you share the form with friends or a study group, each person receives only their own words. Submissions are matched to the email address provided at the time of submission.
Automatic error recovery
If a translation fails temporarily, the system retries it automatically. Resolved translations are cached so they are never lost.
Instant first email
First-time submitters don't wait until the next morning. A welcome email is sent immediately after your first submission is processed.
Privacy
Your email address is used solely to send you your daily vocabulary email. It is stored alongside your submitted words in a private Google Sheet and is never shared with third parties, used for advertising, or passed to any external service. There are no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no newsletters.
Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also use Gmail's native unsubscribe button, which removes your data immediately without any additional steps.
Unsubscribing
You can stop receiving emails at any time in three ways:
Click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email
Use Gmail's built-in unsubscribe button, which appears near the sender name
Reply to any email and ask to be removed
Unsubscribing deletes all your submitted vocabulary entries permanently. If you resubmit words later, you start fresh.
Pricing
Free. There are no plans, no trial periods, and no hidden costs.
This project is built and maintained in free time. If it brings genuine value to your language learning, a small donation via PayPal is appreciated and helps keep it running — but it is entirely optional.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Google account to submit words?
No. The submission form is a standard web form. You do not need to sign in to anything.
How do I know which languages are available?
The language dropdown in the form shows all currently supported languages. If the language you need isn't listed, use the contact option below to request it.
Can I submit multiple words at once?
The form accepts one entry per submission. To add several words, submit the form multiple times. Each submission is processed immediately.
What if my translation looks wrong or is missing?
Translation errors are retried automatically. If an entry still shows a dash (—) in your email after a day or two, resubmitting the word usually resolves it. You can also reply to your daily email to flag the issue.
Can I share this with my study group?
Yes. Each person submits their own words using their own email address. Everyone receives a separate, personalised email with only their own vocabulary. Nobody sees anyone else's entries.
I submitted a word but haven't received an email yet. What's wrong?
Check your spam or promotions folder first. If this is your first submission, the welcome email should arrive within a few minutes. Daily emails go out at 10 AM — if you submitted after that time today, your word will appear in tomorrow's email.
How do I change the language for a word I already submitted?
Currently there is no edit function. The simplest workaround is to resubmit the word with the correct language selected.
Can I see all my submitted words somewhere?
Your words are stored in a private Google Sheet that is managed on your behalf. If you'd like to review or export your full list, get in touch at vocabulary@orzanna.de.
